Geography
Hoi An is nestled about 30 km towards the southern end of Da Nang while attaining the position of being the 4th largest city in Vietnam. Thu Bon River, which is popularly known as Cua Dai, is settled within the area of Da Nang Province that flows into the East China Sea. Hoi An is considerably placed at a distance from the sea bay. Hoi An is acclaimed as the prosperous trading port with an huge amount of water sighted along the Thu Bon River. "Hoi An" is popularly identified as a town comprising of numerous amount of villages. Among these villages the six well appointed villages are Ming Phuong, Hoi An, Kochai, Dong An, Zie Hom, Ho Hua along with the town of Hoi An.
Climate
Enjoy a tropical weather condition in Hoi An with relatively wet and dry seasons. Although the temperatures are warm throughout the year, the hottest months on average are June and July. The coldest months of the year are December and January.
Attractions
Tourists can visit the relics of the Sa Huynh and Cham cultures. They can also enjoy the beautiful scenery of the romantic Hoi An River, Cua Dai Beach, My Son Holyland and Cham Island.
